Alvesco Inhaler for Asthma & Breathing Problems

Asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are breathing conditions that primarily affect the lungs and can cause a range of breathing difficulties. Asthma often occurs after exposure to a trigger, however, it can happen randomly. Triggers may include common allergies to pollen or animal dander, infections, environmental changes or from exercise.

Alvesco is an aerosol spray that reduces the inflammation of the lungs and the associated airways and thus makes your breathing easier. This is a preventer medication used to treat persistent asthma and should be taken every day.

However, it is not a rescue inhaler and must be used regularly to protect against severe asthma attacks.


What is an Alvesco Inhaler and how does it work?

Alvesco inhaler has ciclesonide as the active ingredient. The active ingredient is a corticosteroid available in the form of inhalation aerosol.
