What is Balneum Plus Cream?
Balneum Plus Cream is used for dry and scaly skin. It is applied on the affected area and reduces the skin itching alongside dermatitis, scaling skin disease and eczema.
How does it work?
This cream contains two active ingredients, urea (5%w/w) and Lauromacrogols (3% w/w). Urea is normally present in the normal skin. It is lost in dry skin, so using this cream restores the area of the skin. Urea improves moisture holding ability of the skin.
The other active ingredient, Lauromacrogols, works as a local anaesthetic, reducing pain and swelling and soothing the itchy skin. The other useful ingredients are dimethicone, cetyl palmitate, phenyl dimethicone, polysorbate, palmitic acid, paraffin, stearic acid, carbomer, benzyl alcohol, glycerol and purified water.
